Art creates art. Whether its to create a similar vibe, to bring out an emotion, to pay homage or to simple create an anaesthetic feel, borrowing from great music that came before sounds good if its done properly.

Everyone does it. Some make it obvious and some make it subtle.

Music producers are always digging in the crates to find inspiration for creativity. How many times have you heard a song and go, "Hmmm, I know that!"
